Established in 2002, Guangdong Kanghua Healthcare Group Co., Ltd. (“Kanghua Healthcare”) is a leading private for-profit hospital operator in the PRC, with main businesses focus on hospital services, rehabilitation and other healthcare services, as well as distribution of pharmaceuticals. We are guided by our founding motto “Empathic and Virtuous Medical Practice” (蒼生為念．厚德載醫) and we boast strong medical teams striving to providing premium quality and diversified medical services to patients. In addition, the Group maintains a keen eye for its core competitiveness in healthcare services to enhance competency in specialties services, treatment and diagnosis services and multi-disciplinary collaborations. The Group established a directory of industry-leading specialties, raising the brand image and influence of the Group in China’s private hospitals.
Currently, the Group operates two general hospitals, namely Kanghua Hospital and Renkang Hospital, in Dongguan city of Guangdong province; and one specialized in cardiovascular diseases – Kanghua Zhonglian Cardiovascular Hospital in Chongqing municipality; Anhui Hualian Group, a holding company, collaborated with Huawei to establish the Dongguan Kanghua Hospital – Huawei Clinic. Specifically, Kanghua Hospital is the first batch of private for-profit general hospital in China to have obtained IIIA rating (the highest rating under the Chinese hospital rating system) from NHFPC. In addition, by acquiring Anhui Hualin Group – a rehabilitation service group that engaged in disability rehabilitation and healthcare services, we have established presence for the aforesaid business in Anhui province.
Kanghua Hospital is the first batch of private for-profit general hospital in China to have obtained IIIA rating (the highest rating under the Chinese hospital rating system) from NHFPC. Kanghua Hospital has obtained authoritative recognitions for a number of its medical specialties, including Plastic and Aesthetic Surgery which is rated as a key clinical specialty by NHFPC; and Cardiac Surgery, General Surgery and Medical Imaging are rated as key clinical specialties by the Health Commission of Guangdong Province; Hematology and rehabilitation disciplines were named as the Key Clinical Specialty of Dongguan; and Spine and joint surgery as well as thoracic surgery were named as the Dongguan City Characteristics Specialist. In addition, Kanghua Hospital operates a qualified National Chest Pain Centre, Atrial Fibrillation Centre and Stroke Centre.
In April 2018, the Group acquired Anhui Hualin Rehabilitation Hospital, including its subsidiaries – 2 rehabilitation hospitals, 1 class I general hospital, 9 disabilities rehabilitation centres and 1 vocational training school for the disabled. The Group has since deepened and broadened its horizon of development in rehabilitation and medical spectrum, and have further expanded its network and influence in the healthcare market in China.
In the future, the Group will further capture opportunities arising from China’s medical reform, continue to improve medical resources allocation and professionalism in medical skillsets and services, stepping up the expansion of the Group’s footprint in China’s healthcare market while ensuring healthy development of our hospitals currently in operation, hence reinforcing the leading position of Kanghua Healthcare as a private healthcare services provider in China.
